Cannabis Sea Bass
Now edibles could not get healthier than this! Not too sweet, Not too sweet, just right! Most often when thinking about edibles, sweet desserts or candies are usually the first ideas to surface. Then there comes burgers and sausages. So, why not make a healthy low in bad cholesterol and fat, low in sugar recipe? But who are we kidding? In reality, with the available techniques now in extracting and infusing cannabinoids to butter and alcohol. I can’t honestly think of anything that couldn’t get “Cannabinized” or infused with Cannabis. Even a piece of paper dipped in tincture would do the trick, That is if you eat paper? This is just saying that anything under the sun can be infused and only our imagination limits us.
Our recipe for today brings us to a more cuisine oriented edible. Something that you would eat in a restaurant or in your own home and serve to your family. What I am talking about is Sea Bass. We call it Oven-baked herb & lemon spiced Cannabis Sea Bass. Now that’s a meal! So, let’s not go into more delays and let’s get this going!
Cannabis Sea Bass Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Whole Sea Bass (Chilean if available)
- 1 – 2 Pieces Lemon
- 2 – 3 tbsp Cannabutter or Cannabis-Infused Truffle Oil if available
- Sofrito (red & green bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, parsley, cilantro)
- Thyme
- Salt
- Pepper
How to make Cannabis Sea Bass
1.) Prepare the Sofrito by adding all the ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
2.) Prepare your Sea Bass Fillets and cut shallow slits on the meat. Place on a baking tray.
3.) Pour enough Sofrito on the Sea Bass and spread until the fish is coated to marinate.
4.) Add pepper to taste based on your preference.
5.) Slice lemons thinly and add slices on top of the Sea Bass creating a layer.
6.) Add Thyme to taste based on your preference.
7.) Add a tablespoon of Cannabutter on top of each of the Sea Bass Fillets.
8.) Add Salt to taste.
9.) Using an aluminum foil, Cover the tray and seal the edges tight.
10.) Preheat the oven at 450 degrees F for 5 mins and bake Cannabis Sea Bass for 15 mins or until fragrant and the fish tarts to look flakey.
11.) Remove from the oven and set aside to rest for a couple of minutes. Remove foil cover and serve. Enjoy!
