Weed Beef Jerky Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4-8 grams of Marijuana Buds
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 2 lbs thinly sliced beef meat (Silverside or Sirloin)
  • 3 tbsp Freshly ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Light Soy sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Salt

How to Make Weed Beef Jerky

1.) Make your Cannabis infused Olive Oil by grinding your cannabis buds and mixing it with the olive oil in an oven-safe bowl. Cover the bowl with tin foil and bake in the oven for 2 hours at 250 degrees F.

2.) Once done, Filter your Cannabis olive oil through the cheesecloth and make sure to squeeze out all the marijuana goodness out of the raw material.

3.) Prepare your meat by slicing them into strips depending on how big you want your weed beef jerky to be. Make sure to remove the fat as this may become tough.

4.) Prepare your marinade by mixing the Cannabis Oil, Black pepper, Light Soy sauce, Brown Sugar, Smoked Paprika, Cayenne Pepper, Red Chilli flakes, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and Salt. Mix well to incorporate thoroughly.

5.) Coat your beef strips one by one in the marinade to make sure everything gets a good coating of it. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave the beef strips in the bowl to soak into the weed beef jerky marinade for at least 8 hours or better to do it overnight to get the flavors into that meat.

6.) Prepare your oven rack by layering some tin foil at the bottom of it to catch the drippings or place the rack onto a baking sheet. This rack will be used to cure and air dry the beef using low heat in an oven.

7.)Place each weed beef jerky strip on the oven rack and make sure to leave a good amount of space between them to allow air to pass through and help with dehydrating the meat.

8.)Bake your Cannabis infused beef jerky for around 4 hours at 175 degrees F. This low and slow baking will dehydrate your meat while not overcooking it. If your oven is too hot and if you notice your jerky cooking too fast instead of a steady drying process then you can lower the heat to 150 degrees F and follow the same cooking time.

9.)Set your finished weed beef jerky strips to cool down. Cut into preferred serving size, trim and store in an airtight container. Viola! You now have your own homemade weed beef jerky ready for you to enjoy!
